98.7 in Los Angeles is going to be premiering the title track “Something To Die For” on the air on Monday night at 8pm PST with Kade! We know tons of you don’t live in Los Angeles, but still want to hear the song which you can do by heading over to IHeartRadio.com and streaming the broadcast live! BETTER OFF DEAD – NEW SONG FROM THE SOUNDS OUT NOW!!
The first song from Something To Die For is Better Off Dead!! We wanted to have some fun with you guys, and make some music together. So, make sure you download the song HERE, and let’s see what you can come up with.
We don’t care if it is you sitting in front of your webcam, camera or phone and recording yourself singing with an acoustic guitar, or playing piano, or even a banjo, just record yourself doing a cover of the song, and put it up on the site! We’d love it if you made some cool music videos of yourselves, or put pictures to the song, whatever you want to do. Let’s hear some hip hop, some techno, a mariachi or a humppa version. Bring it on! If you’re in band, let’s hear your cover. If you know a band, get them to cover it! What you get, is a simple arrangement with the melody, lyrics, a simple piano arrangement and chords. What you do with that, is up to you.
Once you post it, it will be up on the site and all of you can check out each other’s covers of the song, and vote for the ones you think:

* Is the most UNIQUE version of it
* Is the BEST cover of it
* Is the best VIDEO of it
Those winners, along with the one with the most overall plays, will get free stuff from us. Yay! But, the BIG PRIZE we get to pick ourselves. One of these cover versions, we will pick to be the B-SIDE ON OUR NEXT 7” SINGLE that will be released!
Even if you don’t know how to read music, you can still be involved. Everyone who downloads the music, gets a free MP3 of OUR version of the song as soon as the contest ends. We bet you our version will sound different than yours! Just keep coming back and listening and watching as people start to post their covers, and vote! We’ll be putting more and more stuff up on the site and updating as we go, so check it out often.
