The first part...sorry for the bad english
Why did you party so much before? I herd you not party so much anymore.
Maja: We were in high school and our dream was to become a real rock band. And patying is one part of being a rockband. But now after 3CD´s we understand that it don’t work to party so much in the long time. We are much cooler now and more serious.Does that mean that you don’t fight nomore?
Maja: Of course I don’t fight. I had a roumor about me in Helsingborg. Not as Maja in the band the sounds but the fighting maja. Haha. But I have a hot temperament. I hate when people talk about me and say bad things. Then I doesn’t matter if it is a big boy or a small girl I confront them. Then you got beaten to? Yeah but I know the guards on the clubs. Så I could just point a someone and he got trown out.
You have been too rehab? How was it?
Yes but not here in Sweden. Cause I didn’t want to do a big thing about it. And I was there 2 week less then I should. And I do not regret the experience of taking drugs. The rehab was surrealistic.Posted 4 months ago # -
they talk about how much they partied the first years, how big they are in the US, Majas drug-problem, how much she used to fight with people when she was younger, the tour with No Doubt ( Maja first was really against it),Stand and Deliver, why critics in Sweden dont give them the credit they deserve, the Levi's commercial they did in the early years, their gay crowd.
I think it was good interview cause the interviewing chick is really easy about really serious topics like drugs and majas gayness.Posted 4 months ago # -
Thanks so much guys! and redstarblack: the English is fine! I love how honest Maja is about all this stuff, usually celebs try to hide or weasel their way out of telling the truth about their addictions & past!! Gotta <3 Maja

How was it to tour with No Doubt?
Maja: I was aginst it in the beginning. But it was really fun!Tell us about the duet with Gwen?
Maja: one when they were soundchecking. Gwen called in the microphone maja you should sing the second verse with me on this song. Först I got nervous but then I learned the text. And then we did it.Why are you not that knowv here as you are in other countries?
Maja: Först I tought it was because we became known a little to fast. We had to good selfconfidence. And because we did I Lewi´s commercial. Why are many of you fans gay?
Maja: Because gay people snap up new music faster then other people.
Do you think I has to do with that you are bisex?
Maja: I don´t know, maybe not as much as fpr other band as gossip for example. I have always tryid to not do a thing about that I´m bisex…it´s the band and the music that is important.
But maybe. The gay people want to find I representant for what they are standing for.Tack you!
Maja: I should be the one to say thank you.

AHHHH!!!!

That interview was far too short. I couldn't recognize a single word, either. Sometimes you can pick out words that sound like English. . . not here. lol
Samantha: Yeah, I like to listen to her speak in Swedish, too. :D *serious dsc*
EDIT! I didn't know the interview continues!!!

Adam and the Ants cover! Stand and Deliver! Got it.
Does she pronounce Felix "fay-a-leeks"? lolol I dunno, I just heard it.

HAHA This is cute!!

Thanks for the translation. I also like hearing her speak swedish. But it's very frustrating when you can understand only half of what she's saying. Some things I miss because they're talking so fast, but the hardest thing is the accent. It's so different from what I'm used to. It feels like a totally different language.
If it's not too much to ask could someone write here what they're saying in swedish. I'd really like to understand to whole thing. It's so awesome that Maja is so honest. Makes me respect her even more.

Yeah, if someone wouldn't mind just transcribing it in Swedish, that would be good, too. . . even though no translation site ever gets it right at least we can get the general idea :)

The interview is much longer than those two short parts that were included in the episode.
Here's the link.
http://svt.se/hypeThe Swedish transcription would be nice, if someone has time and energy to do it.

OMIGOD...30 mins of MAJA talking....AHHH! Love it! Yes if someone is nice enough to translate and transcribe...that would be so great!
Posted 4 months ago # -
did you seriously watch it for 30 minutes without understanding a word?
Posted 4 months ago # -
Yes seriously I did!!! HAHAHA
Posted 4 months ago # -
That is SICK
hahaPosted 4 months ago # -
Erm . . . I've watched it twice now. And I don't understand any of it. lol I mean helloooo. .. I could listen to her voice all day. She could be calling me an ignorant fucking douche bag in Swedish and I'd be swooning.
Posted 4 months ago # -
I've watched it a few times now, every time I understand a little more. Still no where near getting the whole thing. I can keep up with the topics they're talking about, but I miss the essential things what they're saying about the topics.. Extremely annoying. I'm gonna keep working on this, I'm determined to understand it. :D
